2009 Ad Campaign Team

NSAC National Championship 9th Place • NSAC District 10 First Runner-Up

Each year the American Advertising Federation (AAF) challenges more than 600 colleges and universities to resolve an existing marketing problem for a corporate sponsor through the National Student Advertising Competition.

The Schieffer School of Journalism meets this challenge through a spring campaigns course (JOUR 40703) that throws away the textbook and puts the emphasis on a real world "hands on" experience to answer what has been heralded as one of the toughest academic competitions in the nation today.

TCU students don't enroll in campaigns. They fill out an agency application and are interviewed based on how their respective skills can fill a leadership position in the student-run advertising agency. With only 15 to 18 positions available on the team to students from qualifying disciplines across campus, competition is strong to become a member of this National Championship group.

As a result, campaigns attracts highly motivated students with the will to to prove that they have what it takes to produce a winning team effort. This site is dedicated to the past, present and future campaigns teams who have paid and will continue to pay the price to be "the best of the best!'
